1951 Herreshoff 47″ classic
This beauty was designed and owned by L. Francis Herreshoff!! She was built by the Luders Yard and reportedly was used for a time as a pace boat for the Harvard University crew team.
The sellers purchased the boat in 1978 and totally rebuilt her over the years, launching her in 1992 with a layout that is designed for coastal cruising and comfort on the inland waterways. The interior layout is absolutely stunning with many different kinds of varnished and highly polished woods as well as a working woodstove.
This boat would really fit PERFECTLY in the wooden boat show on Lake Winnipesaukee and could also be used as a floating hotel suite.
